The shooting took place in Hartford around 7 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at 18 Townley St., next to Saint Francis Hospital.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, officers responded to the area after receiving calls of shots fired and found evidence of a shooting, but no victims.
While on the scene, two victims arrived at an area hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds, Boisvert said.
The first victim, a woman in her 30s, was suffering from a single gunshot wound and is listed in stable condition, Boisvert said.
The second victim, an 18-year-old man, suffered a single gunshot wound and is currently listed in critical, but stable condition, he added.
So far this year, Hartford has had 35 gunshot survivors, compared to 36 on that date in 2021, police said.
There have been 11 murders, compared to nine as of April 21, 2021.
